My testimony of salvation

My daughter, Kay, posted a blog titled "Without Him", in which she described her testimony. I posted a comment on that blog about my testimony of salvation. If anyone is interested, go to Loopdeloops.blogspot.com. Thanks.

I need to go read that entry - I think that was a busy day and I didn't read it yet, but plan to - when I miss a day of Kay's blogs I always go back to see what I missed.

I just posted video of Daniel that played while his mom sang Bring the Rain before his brain surgery on my actions speak loudest blog.

Thanks for sharing your story...I shared a little over at Kay's post too.

Not sure if I told you, but I had my first Hospice Volunteer training on Monday - they are just waiting for my criminal background check before I can get started.

Robin, thanks for your posts. Is the hospice you're involved in a faith based one? I had some Christian friends who were kicked out of the local hospice after several years of volunteering. The reason was that they witnessed to a dying man about Jesus Christ. They were told that they were to support the patients in their own beliefs, even if there was no belief in a higher being. They had witnessed and prayed with people for years but guess this one reported them. I suppose your criminal background check will be okay. :>)

Thanks:) Yeah I'm guessing my criminal background check will be okay, since the most trouble I've been in was when I wrote on my book in first grade and one other time I had my goggles on incorrectly in 7th grade wood shop class. I don't think records of those misdeeds went to far :)

You know I'm not 100% sure of the beliefs of everyone at this hospice. The volunteer coordinator went on and on about how much she loves my Pastor and the Chaplain (I'm positive is a Christian) also raved about my Pastor. From the meeting we had to learn about Hospice I would say that they allow us to share our beliefs is the patient expresses an interest in it, but we aren't supposed to try to convert a patient to our particular belief system. I used to work for a non-profit Christian company and we were not allowed to share our faith unless the client's asked specific questions, but I think that had a lot to do with government funding issues than anything. So pray that God puts me in the places I can best be used to give HIM glory.
